Bona dusting pad refill- New and Improved??!!
This week I went to two stores to buy the white fluffy refill for my 15? year-old Bona dust mop (which I LOVE and have been touting ever since), and all I could find was a thin straggly blue/white refill, totally unlike my refill I bought several years ago. I had gifted my sister with a Bona mop several years ago (luckily with white refills), and she has since raved about the Bona dust mop. I bought the "New and Improved" blue/white refill since the packaging said it was 50% better than the previous. Luckily, I read the reviews confirming my suspicions before using it, and I'll return it. My MAIN concern is why, after reading/responding to complaints from 2 years ago and even more recently from previously satisfied Bona owners, Bona stubbornly has not listened to its loyal customers' complaints and brought back its "original" white electrostatic refill? Bona customer service reps? ... any valid answer other than your usual ..."please call us @ to discuss...." I look forward to your response and thank you.

Useless!
I bought this when we installed our new top of the line CoreTec flooring last month. This worked well the first time, but now flattens and moves dust around. I have tried shaking it vigorously, but it’s not as effective anymore. My hubs and I are empty nesters with no pets and no grandchildren running through the house. We wear thick socks inside—not shoes— so we don’t track in lots of dirt. I’m going to try to find another product.

Does not work
Recently bought dusting pad. Regrettably did not check reviews first. Agree with majority here: pad is not effective at picking up dust and mostly pushes it. My plain microfiber cloths perform better.

I have a large hound dog & his hair was impossible to sweep up. We moved into a new house with engineered hardwood & his shedding became an issue within the first two days. Every hair shows in contrast against the hardwood. I didn't know what to do till my real estate agent told me to use these microfiber dusting pads from Bona. I bought the whole kit. It picks the dog hair up better than anything. So if you have pets you'll love these.

Big disappointment
I used the Bona products on my new wood floors and actually loved the white dusting pad better than the swifter pads I had previously used. I purchased a kit in our winter home as I have a lot of tile. It came with the “new and improved” duster pad and I was extremely disappointed. It just bunches up and after it has been washed it is pretty much useless. Guess I’ll have to go back to my Swifter.
